Anyone who truly knows me, know I love music. I can hear a song and it brings me back to a certain memory or how I felt the first time I heard it. While I'm at work I love Pandora, Grooveshark, and Last.fm for my music listening choices. I just can't seem to stay focused without having something in my hear listening. Today has been different than normal since I have been burned out with my typical, pop, rock, dnb, and whatever mixture I tend to listen to. Today has been "Stuck like Glue" by Sugarland radio on Pandora. Yes, country music. I am also sad to admit that there is a part of me that really loves it. Granted its all upbeat happy country songs that make you feel good about growing up in a small town. I am proud to be from Navarre, Fl. I have the best of both worlds, beautiful beaches and dirt roads to get lost on. Music like this takes me back to playing in the dirt and having red clay bomb wars. Only memories that Felicia, Kim, Danny, my sister Christy and a few others may even remember. Yes, even I played in the dirt without gloves on my hands back then. Back then all I wanted to do when I grew up was have a huge house in the country with plenty of room to have livestock. Boy, how I have changed! Not that its a bad thing. I'm living a pretty fun filled life with the most important people beside me.
What are some of your memories that flashback when you listen to it or encourages you to keep you true to your roots?
